Tamar is a Mental Performance Specialist & Master Resilience Trainer with over a decade of experience supporting individuals in high-pressure environments, including military settings and athletic performance. Tamar is client-centered and works with a broad range of clients, providing counseling for anxiety, stress, life transitions, and performance-related challenges.
Tamar is dedicated to creating a safe, supportive space where all clients feel seen, heard, and empowered. Her approach emphasizes resilience, emotional well-being, and personal growth. She integrates evidence-based practices, including Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Mental Imagery, and Psychological Skills Training (PST), to support clients in developing the tools and confidence needed to overcome obstacles and achieve meaningful goals.
Focus Areas: Anxiety, Stress, Life Transitions, Performance Related Challenges, Burnout/Workplace Trauma, Racial Identity, Sports Psychology, Trauma/PTSD, & Veterans.
Tamar is working under the supervision of Jade Richter, LPCC, at Lilium Center, while pursuing state licensure as a Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) in Minnesota. She is also actively working towards certification as a Certified Mental Performance Consultant (CMPC) through the Association for Applied Sport Psychology.
In her free time, she enjoys traveling, music, reading, and making lasting memories with her children.
