Fees & Payment

We accept insurance and private pay. Payment is due at the time of service. Private pay rates are listed below.

Lilium Center is committed to providing high-quality, transparent, and accessible mental health care across Minnesota, with services offered in Edina, St. Paul, and via secure telehealth.

  • Lilium Center is in-network with a range of commercial, employer-sponsored, Medicaid (PMAP), Medicare, TRICARE, and Employee Assistance Program (EAP) plans. Coverage varies based on your individual policy, provider credentialing status, and service type.

    Insurance coverage can vary significantly. We encourage clients to review their benefits in advance or contact our team for support prior to scheduling.

    Commercial & Employer-Sponsored Plans

    We are in-network with many major insurance providers, including:

    Some UnitedHealthcare plans are administered through Optum Behavioral Health. If your insurance card references Optum or UnitedHealthcare, your mental health benefits are typically managed within this network.

    Employee Assistance Programs (EAP)

    We currently accept:

    • Optum EAP

    • CuraLink EAP (coming soon)

    • Compsych (coming soon)

    EAP services are typically short-term and solution-focused, with session limits determined by your employer’s plan.

    Medicaid (MHCP / PMAP)

    We accept Minnesota Health Care Programs, including:

    • Medical Assistance (MA) / Medicaid

    • Prepaid Medical Assistance Program (PMAP) plans

    • Blue Plus (BCBS MN PMAP)

    Medicare & Military Plans

    We accept select plans in these categories, including:

    • Minnesota Medicare

    • AARP Medicare

    • TRICARE

    • TRICARE West Region

    Private Pay & Out-of-Network Options

    We offer private-pay services for clients who prefer flexibility or whose plans are out-of-network.

    • Superbills may be provided upon request for potential reimbursement

    • Reimbursement is determined by your insurance plan and is not guaranteed

    • Good Faith Estimates (GFE) are available in accordance with federal law

    • Some specialty services or extended sessions may not be covered by insurance

    Coverage & Verification

    Benefits are reviewed prior to your first appointment as a courtesy. However, verification does not guarantee coverage or payment.

    Clients are responsible for understanding their:

    • Deductibles

    • Copays

    • Coinsurance

    • Authorization requirements

    • EAP session limits

    • Non-covered services

    Network participation may vary by individual provider.

  • The following reflects Lilium Center’s standard private pay rates for services.

    Initial Assessment

    • Diagnostic Intake Assessment (60–90 minutes): $300

    Individual Therapy

    • Psychotherapy Session (53–60 minutes): $220

    • Psychotherapy Session (38–52 minutes): $190

    • Psychotherapy Session (16–37 minutes): $135

    Family Therapy

    • Family Therapy Session (53–60 minutes): $220

    Extended & Specialized Services

    • Extended Psychotherapy Session (106 minutes – Private Pay Only): $395

    • Group Therapy Session (55–60 minutes): $80

    EMDR Intensives

    • 2–3 day customized intensive programs (Private Pay Only)

  • Clients who are uninsured or who choose not to use insurance are entitled to receive a Good Faith Estimate (GFE) of expected charges under federal law.

    A Good Faith Estimate outlines anticipated costs based on the information available at the time of scheduling. Actual costs may vary depending on the frequency, duration, and clinical needs associated with care.

    Private Pay Agreement is also provided for clients electing to self-pay.

    Billing & Payment

    • Payment is due at the time of service

    • A valid card on file is required for most clients

    • Copays are charged on the date of service

    • Deductibles and coinsurance are billed after insurance processing

    • Statements are available through the secure client portal

    • Outstanding balances may be charged to the card on file unless prior arrangements are made

    Cancellation Policy

    • 24-hour notice is required for cancellations or rescheduling

    • Late cancellations and missed appointments are subject to a $100 fee

    • This fee is not billable to insurance

    • Arrivals more than 15 minutes late may be considered a missed appointment

    Consistent attendance supports effective treatment. Repeated missed appointments may result in modification or discontinuation of services.
