Lauren Meaney is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist who was hired to lead Lilium Center’s Child and Family Services Program. She works with children, adolescents, teens, families, couples, and individual adults, bringing a systems-oriented and developmentally informed perspective to her clinical work.

Lauren believes that meaningful and lasting change is best supported through an understanding of the broader relational system. She prioritizes building a strong therapeutic foundation rooted in trust, collaboration, and safety, recognizing that rapport develops over time and is essential to effective therapy.

Lauren utilizes a range of evidence-based and experiential therapeutic approaches to meet the unique needs of each client and family system. Modalities she commonly incorporates include Play Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Narrative Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, Experiential Therapy, Internal Family Systems (IFS), Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), Family Systems Therapy, and Play Family Therapy. Her work is strengths-based and focused on promoting resilience, connection, and growth across developmental stages and relationships.

Focus Areas Include:
Children (ages 5–9), Adolescents (ages 10–12), Teens (ages 13–17), Families, Couples, and Individual Adults seeking support for parenting and relational stress related to anxiety, behavioral concerns, depression, education and learning differences, relationship challenges, self-esteem, trauma, and PTSD.
