Brianna Reak places tremendous value on the therapist-client relationship and believes nothing is more important than cultivating a strong, trusting connection with clients. She believes a misconception exists that says advice giving is what is most helpful, but Brianna prefers to offer her clients alternative perspectives and create space for a collaborative approach to explore new ways to overcoming obstacles. Clients can expect a safe, nonjudgmental therapy environment to express themselves and be heard. Her environment is one of active listening, empathy, empowerment, support, collaboration, and humor.

Brianna works with children, adolescents and young adults utilizing evidenced-based practices. When working with clients, Brianna’s aim is to assist clients on: identifying and building upon their strengths, recognizing unhelpful thought patterns, developing healthy behavioral habits, gaining insight, and increasing overall emotional health and well-being.

She provides therapy for a wide range of issues and believes in incorporating a variety of techniques in order to develop a personalized approach to therapy.  Education: Saint Marys University of Minnesota, Master of Arts, Counseling & Psychological Services (2020).
