Payton aims to provide a nonjudgmental environment where she works collaboratively with clients towards wellbeing, self-acceptance, and positive change. She strives to bring energy, humor, honesty, and compassion to each session so that clients may feel validated and develop skills to embrace life’s challenges.

Payton enjoys working with individuals ages 10 and up, couples, and families. Payton is especially passionate about working with teens, ADHD, trauma, and those who experience relational difficulties. Payton loves working with people of all gender, racial, and cultural identities and backgrounds.

Payton’s therapeutic work is guided by Emotion-Focused, Relational, Cognitive Behavioral, Dialectical Behavioral, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapies. Attachment theory, the mind-body connection, and trauma-informed care guide her approach as well.

When Payton is not practicing therapy, she can be found socializing with friends and family, listening to all her favorite tunes at full volume, and cheering on her favorite Wisconsin sports teams.

Payton is able to accept most ALL insurance in-network except for Optum plans at this time.
