Erica Warffuel is a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor and Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor. Her training allows her the ability to treat both mental health issues and substance use issues. She understands the complexities and needs of clients who struggle with PTSD, substance use, depression, anxiety, fear, shame/guilt, grief/loss, life transitions, identity issues, and relationship concerns.

Erica approaches treatment and therapy through a trauma-informed and harm-reduction lens. Her approach utilizes empathy and the right amount of humor to create a safe space for all individuals that are seeking out support. She is skilled in assisting client’s in processing emotions in a healthy manner and assists them in learning the necessary skills to acquire new tools to make the changes they want in life. She holds a certification in Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART), rapid-eye-movement therapy for treatment of trauma, anxiety, depression, cravings, self-esteem issues, and other conditions. Erica enjoys working with individuals who are part of the LGBTQIA community, and identifies as queer.

Erica holds a Masters Degree in Counseling Psychology with focus on Addiction Studies from Crown College in St. Bonifacius, MN She also holds a Bachelors Degree in Child Psychology from the University of Minnesota Twin Cities.
